President of the World Artists Association, Wang Yugen, Attends U.S.-China Culture and Arts Association Event

On the evening of August 17, 2024, the Virgin Hotel in Manhattan hosted a grand event in the international art world—the 25th Anniversary Celebration and Culture and Technology Innovation Symposium of the U.S.-China Culture and Arts Association (CACAA). The event brought together renowned figures from the art, cultural, and technology sectors from both China and the United States to celebrate and discuss the integration of culture and technology.

At the celebration, Mr. Wang Yugen, president of the World Artists Association and a globally renowned art master, became the focal point on the international stage. He was joined by Jack, filmmaker at the SoHo International Film Festival; George, chairman of the SoHo International Film Festival; Dr. Jeannie Yi, co-producer of the Hollywood CBS Family Film and Television Awards; Gerard, founder of the famous New York celebrity magazine Black Tie; Pan Yan, director of the Consular Office of the Chinese Consulate in New York; Zhou Aiming, world judo champion and chairman of the U.S.-China Sports Association; Dr. Annie Huang, founder of the WORLD MADAM brand and the WORLD MADAM Foundation; and Wang Shuguang, general manager of Broad Group USA. These important figures in the arts and culture world attended the grand event.

Mr. Wang not only shared his artworks and creative philosophy but also discussed how art serves as a bridge connecting people worldwide. He emphasized the crucial role of art in promoting world peace and shared the founding purpose of the World Artists Association and his aesthetic beliefs. His speech not only showcased his mastery as an artist but also highlighted his profound understanding of art and cultural exchange.

In his speech, Executive President Ye Qing reviewed the journey of the U.S.-China Culture and Arts Association since its inception, emphasizing the organization's efforts and contributions in promoting cultural and artistic exchange between China and the United States. Newly appointed chairman Lin Jianzhong stated that promoting cultural exchange between the two countries is one of the association's most important goals. Through a series of events and collaborations, the organization aims to further strengthen this exchange and cooperation.
